My Journey

I am a Ph.D. Scholar in High Energy Physics at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP). My academic journey has been shaped by a deep curiosity about the fundamental laws governing matter and the evolution of the early universe.

With formal training in physics and mathematics, I have developed a strong foundation in theoretical concepts, computational techniques, and experimental methods. Over time, my interests have converged toward ultra-relativistic collisions and the study of strongly interacting matter.

Research Focus

Tools & Simulations

PYTHIA 8 Event generation for quarkonium and small-system studies
ROOT Histogramming, fitting, and large-scale data analysis
GLISSANDO 3 Glauber modeling of initial-state geometry
Linux & HPC Batch systems, shell scripting, large Monte Carlo production

What I Have Done

I have carried out large-scale Monte Carlo simulations using PYTHIA and analyzed high-statistics datasets with ROOT, focusing on transverse momentum spectra, multiplicity dependence, and differential cross sections relevant to heavy-ion and small-system collisions.

My research experience also includes experimental and computational work in radio astronomy and materials science, such as antenna design for H1-line detection and synthesis of cobalt ferrite nanorods for electrochemical applications.

I have contributed to peer-reviewed international conferences and collaborative research projects, demonstrating my ability to integrate simulations, experimental techniques, and physical interpretation.
